Technology Unveiling Event

See first-hand a new breakthrough in Canada for ultra-high-speed ground transportation to connect cities and address climate change.

  • TransPod is hosting an event to unveil a new breakthrough technology. For the first time, TransPod is sharing our ⅓ scale vehicle demonstrator publicly to reveal the concept and design for the TransPod Line
  • At our upcoming event in Toronto, the vehicle technology will be showcased in-person to demonstrate how it works and why it will propel us into the next generation of sustainable, affordable, and ultra-high-speed transportation
  • Fossil-fuel-free and fully-electric, the TransPod Line is being developed for application in cities around the world. This technology demonstration will give a closer look than ever into the future of transportation

TransPod’s chief architect Ryan Janzen will announce a new breakthrough in high-speed transportation. Featured on the Discovery Channel, Wired magazine, and Through the Wormhole, Dr. Janzen is an entrepreneur, scientist, and global innovator.

Please arrive at the MaRS Centre at least 20 minutes before the show time, to ensure everyone completes the check-in process and can be seated in the theatre to prepare for filming of the event. From the MaRS Centre entrance, walk inside the building and proceed toward the main auditorium, which is 1 level below the main floor. Check-in desk will open 45 minutes before the show time, just outside the Auditorium. Guests who are early are welcome to relax and meet in the CIBC Lounge. Doors of the Auditorium will open approximately 15 minutes before the show time, so the audience can take their seats. Please note that the event is filmed by a live film crew, so it’s important that everyone be seated and prepared before the show begins. Part of the audience may be visible in the background of the camera shots. You are welcome to think of questions to ask during the Q&A with the panel discussion at the end!
